This is a Ruksha–Snigdha Swedana (dry–unctuous sudation) therapy where medicinal leaves of Eranda (Ricinus communis), Tamarindus indica, and Nirgundi (Vitex negundo) are fried in herbal oil, tied into boluses (Kizhis), and massaged over the body.
