Ear Nose And Throat
EAR NOSE AND THROAT
In Ayurveda, the ear (Karna), nose (Nasa), and throat (Kantha) are vital organs located in the Urdhwajatrugata Pradesha (above the clavicle region). Disorders in this region arise due to vitiation of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas, and are collectively termed Urdhwajatrugata Rogas. Each of these organs is closely connected with the Prana Vata (respiratory energy), Udana Vata (speech and throat functions), and Tarpaka Kapha (lubrication and nourishment of sensory organs).
At Dhathri Ayurveda, ENT care focuses on: Restoring dosha balance, Clearing blockages in sense organs, Reducing inflammation, Enhancing sensory perception and immunity. Therapies include Nasya (nasal therapy), Karna Purana (ear oiling), Gandusha (oil gargling), Dhoomapana (medicated smoke inhalation), and Panchakarma detoxification for holistic rejuvenation.
