Pratishyaya refers to nasal inflammation caused by vitiated Vata and Kapha, leading to sneezing, nasal block, and sinus congestion.

Causes:

  • Dust, pollen, and temperature changes
  • Excessive intake of cold foods and drinks

  • Uncontrolled exposure to air conditioning
