Lumbar Spondylosis / Sciatica (Kati Sandhigata Vata / Gridhrasi)

Lumbar spondylosis and sciatica involve Vata aggravation in the lower spine causing nerve compression and radiating leg pain. In Ayurveda, this is Kati Sandhigata Vata or Gridhrasi.

Symptoms:

  • Swedana: Podi Kizhi and Ela Kizhi to relieve stiffness.
  • Rasayana: Dashamoola Rasayana, Ashwagandha, Bala for strength.
