Hearing Loss
Loss of hearing or deafness is known as Badhirya in Ayurveda. It occurs due to Vata obstruction or degeneration of auditory pathways.
Symptoms:
- Reduced hearing sensitivity
- Ear blockage or echo
- Imbalance and giddiness
Ayurvedic Management:
- Karna Purana: Application of medicated oils like Anu Taila, Mahatiktaka Ghrita, or Bala Taila.
- Nasya: Nasal instillation to nourish cranial nerves.
