Grīva Vasti (Neck Oil Retention Therapy)

Ayurvedic Principle: 

It pacifies aggravated Vāta in the cervical region, strengthens Mamsa and Asthi Dhatus, and improves mobility.

Procedure: 

A ring of black gram dough is placed around the cervical spine and filled with warm medicated oil. The oil is retained for 30–45 minutes.

Indications:

• Cervical spondylosis
• Neck stiffness (Manyāstambha)
• Radiating shoulder pain
