Karnapooranam (Ear Oleation Therapy)

In this Snehana Chikitsa, warm medicated oil is instilled into the ear canal to cleanse, lubricate, and strengthen auditory structures. It balances Vata dosha localized in the Shravanendriya (sense of hearing).

Physiological Action (Kriya): 

The oil acts as a protective barrier against microbial invasion, softens accumulated wax, and improves the conduction of sound waves. The therapy pacifies Prana and Vyana Vata, which govern sensory and neuromuscular coordination.
